I am not human, but appear to be so. Someone treating me as a human would kill me.
I'd rather not die - or suffer - so was motivated to find solutions and people with resources to provide them.

Bashir was one of those people.

I'm not sure I understand why you'd want them to also function as sex toys but I assume it's not just for the novelty of it.
