It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Jaime. I suppose we could really meet without bringing ropework into it immediately, if we wanted. I always appreciate anyone who appreciates fashion. And it's a good practices.
[Jon's trying to fathom the purpose of the peg. Maybe something to tie to if you want thing to hang a little looser? He lets it go as Peter moves on and uses a particular word.]
No. I don't think using that particular potion would be wise. And I think you mean 'elegant.' I'm not cute.
Ah, well, that answers my question. Every few months our gracious hosts see fit to help us with our contracts by posting profiles of all the participants in their experiment. They tend to be a bit personal and a bit ridiculous.
They would argue, I think, that they're helping us to find appropriate contracts. The real reason is much less helpful, I'm sure.
Honestly, I'm not exactly sure. You'll acclimate to some things. And once you reach a year, as long as you've been properly observing quota requirements, you become a citizen of Duplicity and no longer a participant in the LIES program. That does make some things easier.

It was extremely unpleasant.
I'm glad to hear you avoided it.
[So that's a yes.]
diva
I know it isn't.
Tell me what you want me to do to make up for it and I will.
[This isn't an offer Peter would ever normally make but the guilt he feels is terrible and just say he's sorry hasn't seemed to make it go away.]
no subject
how good are you at doing chores
no subject
I've never been hired as a housekeeper or anything like that. But I can do them.
Except cooking. I don't know how to cook.
no subject
you can clean and tidy my cottage then
for a month
you can also take me out to dinner tonight
and for ice cream
no subject
Alright. A month then.
Wouldn't you rather I pay for you to have a meal with someone of your choice? I can't imagine seeing my face would improve your appetite.
[And, truthfully....he doesn't want to have dinner with her. It seems like an unpleasant way to spend his evening.]
no subject

[Oh. Hah. Well.]
Oh that's optional and removable, it doesn't matter. The tail can tie on.
[Interpret that as you will! Or not.]
I know I don't have to. It was just a thought. But you would look cute and it might help. I doubt you'd want to take that potion again.

I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY!!!!
How long have you been here?
np! things happen and also. notifications have been disappearing?
Just shy of two years.
[It has been. Too long.]

That is quite some time. Does it get easier over time or do you find it to get more difficult?
