I don't think I would have made the connection if my contract partner wasn't from Earth as well. She mentioned that magpies have been historically connected to thieves. I had my suspicions after that.
It depends largely on where in the galaxy you're talking about. I believe some of the solar planets still celebrate the old holidays. I'm sure they do especially on Earth. Merry Christmas, Jon.
