Oh, my previous work experience largely didn't translate well to being employed in Duplicity. I came across the cafe and thought it would be an interesting change of pace, honestly. It's very much about performance, after all! And being good with people. I did a bit of theater in my younger days. Besides, being paid to have people - well, most people - pet me and vie for my attention is a pretty good deal, I'd say.
