[Chris crosses his arms lightly over himself and looks away for the question.]

Garden-verity, really, just breaking into whatever main government building we think might be housing either the device that brings us here or it's schematics. Or maybe the one that controls some of our powers.

[He looks back at Morrigan with same smile, but with a glint of determination in his eyes. Light as his tone might be, he's entirely serious.]

On a smaller scale, perhaps even just hints or signs at the city's infrastructure: ledgers, orders, a central hub of portals that might link to more cities aside the two we know, something to clue-in how they make this place run.

[Well. Isn't that interesting. Peter's smile takes on a sharp, bright aspect to it.]

I see. It's not the first time I've been asked to do something like this, actually. Though not for this particular line of inquiry.

I do intend to go with you, but I'll follow your word to the letter on what we do and how we do it with only one stipulation set: should things go wrong in a way we can see coming, you're to slip out with every trick you've got and any information we've gathered.

Currently, you've met everyone I would consider a friend.

And you'd be right for the rest as well, I've no exact location in mind other than likely in the Up. As Jon pointed out, not likely to have so important a place at risk of the gang activity in the Down. Unfortunately, I'm not even certain I can speak to the size we're looking for. If any amount of magic might be involved, it could appear small and be the size of a city on it's own inside.

Friends and acquaintances are two very different things.

Also are you calling Jaime unsociable, because I think he'd be surprised to hear it. Come to that, Chris didn't strike me as unsociable either.
